CEO’s Unfathomable Gifted Wife Chapter 31

chapter 31 Interrogation

When Coral woke up, she found herself still lying on the thick, soft floor of her hotel room.

She slept soundly this time in a coma, but she still remem- bered that she failed to get to bed before she passed out.

“Looks like…everything is fine?”

Coral struggled to remember what happened when she passed out and then looked around. There was no problem with the location of the fall. She vaguely remembered that her phone slipped from her pocket, and it was found on the car- pet.

Plagued by narcolepsy for years, Coral had grown accus- tomed to sleeping on the floor, not to mention the soft carpet this time.

After making sure that nothing happened to her after fall- ing asleep, Coral felt like she was lucky. And then she looked at the time and found that she had slept for 5 hours this time. Fortunately, not more than 24 hours of excessive sleep.

Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows of the hotel, the bustling night view of San Francisco could already be seen. Coral thought about it and decided to leave the hotel and re- turn to the Clowde’s.

She walked away quickly, and the moment she entered the elevator, the door of the room across the corridor opened gently, and an electric wheelchair was slowly pushed out.

Albert was sitting in a wheelchair. His handsome face was expressionless and his eyes were not staring at the elevator.

It was like… Coral’s departure had nothing to do with him.

“Alan.”

“Yes, Mr. Blake.”

“Notify the Castle Hotel to erase all information about my stay at the hotel today.”

“Well, yes, Mr. Blake.”

Alan was a little puzzled that his boss had waited for five hours just to do this after Miss Coral left?

Coral returned to the Clowde’s and found that everyone was in the living room.

Odin and Leyla had serious expressions, and Rosie even had a bitter look on her face.

Nanny Darbi was also sneering, gleefully, and seemed to be waiting for some good show.

“Coral, come here,” Odin spoke first, and there was al- ready a tone of interrogation in his words.

Coral stood by the sofa, and no one invited her to sit. But she didn’t care and found a seat by herself to sit down.

Odin twitched his eyelid, and he thought to himself, ‘The girl from the countryside is just unruly, how dare she sit down just like that?’

He only thought that Coral was uneducated, but he just didn’t realize that she was calm even in chaos, which was hard for most people.

“Coral, aren’t you supposed to be with Albert today? Why did you go to Showbiz LTD and sign up for the audition for Glamour?”

After Odin’s questioning, the eyes of others in the living room also fell on Coral.

Leyla just looked at her faintly from the corner of her eye, but Rosie seemed to want to pierce Coral with her eyes!

“Going to Showbiz LTD is a private matter, and I didn’t sign up for the audition.”

Coral told the truth. Unfortunately, no one believed it.

“Liar!” Rosie couldn’t hold back. Her voice was a bit sharp, and she didn’t even care about the manners of the eldest daughter of the Clowde family.

Today’s failure hit Rosie a lot, but the bigger blow was Coral’s performance on the spot.

Her performance of suppressing all the actresses and her winning of Glamour’s heroine made Rosie Clowde feel a strong sense of inferiority!

Sense of inferiority? Rosie couldn’t bear that she was not even as good as this rude girl from the countryside?

The stronger this feeling, the more Rosie hated Coral!

Especially after she left, her friend Astrid sent a message, ‘Director Steve is very optimistic about Coral. I guess she got the chance?

“Dad, Mom, I saw Coral at the audition site with my own eyes, and she also tried on more than one costume,” Rosie

said with her expression gradually grim.

“She’s only been here for a few days! How dare she lie to you? In my opinion, it’s best to send her back to the country- side immediately!”
