Let me go, Mr. Hill Novel [By Shallow South] Chapter 2343

Five minutes later, Freya returned. Catherine and the lawyer had finished looking through the documents. ” There’s no problem. Let’s sign it.”

After Freya, Catherine, and Rodney put down their signatures, Rodney said in a hurry, “It’s a big day today. Allow me to invite you all to have a meal at a restaurant nearby. Let’s take it as a celebration for the success of Freycatheli’s acquisition-“

“General Manager Hoffman from our company will accompany you, President Snow. President Lynch and I have some other important matters to attend to later.” Catherine refused politely without waiting for Rodney to finish his sentence.

“President Jones, you’re making me look bad.” Rodney’s expression was not very good. “You should be aware that quite many local and overseas companies were interested in acquiring Osher Corporation. However, I never considered them. Freycatheli came to my mind first, and I didn’t deliberately raise the price.”

Freya could not listen to him anymore. She said while feeling disgusted, “Must I have a meal with you today and even sleep with you tonight to thank you?”

There were still other people in the meeting room. The way they looked at Rodney turned strange in an instant.

Rodney did not think Freya would be so bold. He blushed. “Freya, that’s not what I meant. You know it as well. I just-“

“You just want to exercise emotional blackmail, right?” Catherine continued after him coldly.

“No. I just want everyone to have a meal together. After all, we’ve just reached a cooperation today.’ Rodney frowned. “Can you please not think so badly of me? I’m truly aware of my mistakes from the past.”

“I don’t think this counts as cooperation.” Catherine waved the document in her hand. “President Snow, your company has been in a continuous deficit and can no longer operate. This is just an acquisition. I’m grateful that you put down your signature so readily, but you have to be clear that with my identity, no one would dare to compete with me as long as I said the word. By then, as long as I forcefully kept the price down, Osher Corporation would be left helpless. Your losses would only be greater.”

Her words were well-phrased. She had the disdainful gaze of someone more superior than him.

Rodney was taken aback. He looked at Catherine. At that moment, he truly realized that she was no longer the Catherine of the past. She was Sheryl’s daughter and a person under Titus’ protection.

A stomp of their feet could shake up the global stock market. Who would dare to go against Catherine?

Catherine said, “You should be thankful to me. Freya and I no longer have intentions of getting revenge on you. Otherwise, I would’ve at least made you suffer before you signed the contract.”

After pausing for a moment, she continued, “Furthermore, with our current identities, you don’t even have the right to have a meal with us. You should at least be at your sister’s level to do so.”

Catherine left with Freya after speaking.

Rodney looked at their silhouettes. His handsome face alternated between being flushed and pale.

The senior managers stared at him from behind and whispered, “That’s right. Our company has been acquired. He lost miserably, yet he still isn’t aware of his situation.”

“Maybe he thinks he’s still the young master of the Snow family and Osher Corporation’s boss. Hasn’t he thought about who’s the one who dragged Osher Corporation down?”

“Yes. As for him being the Snow family’s young master? Forget it. He ruined the Snow family’s reputation. I heard that the Snow family members look at him as if he’s a fly whenever they see him.”

“Get lost.”

Rodney could not continue listening. He grabbed a cup on the table and threw it at the two people. “Say another word and let’s see if I’ll k**l you or not.”

“Tsk, do you really think you’re still Osher Corporation’s boss? The people we’re supposed to please now are President Jones and President Lynch, okay?”

The two senior managers left.

Rodney leaned against the meeting table stiffly.

This used to be the empire he built. He did not understand why every employee hated him.

Sometimes, he felt like his life was a failure. He would rather d*e to end his troubles.
