“Alex you need to eat” my sister says irritated.

“I don’t want food, I just want to be alone” I say looking away from my sister.

“Ashton would you please convince her to eat” she says after Ashton comes into my room. My sister has been coming to visit me in the hospital each and everyday of the two weeks since I have been hospitalised.

“Alex stop being impossible just eat” Ashton says backing my sister.

“Both of you need to go” I say angrily.

“Well fine I am leaving” Athena says taking her bag and leaving.

“Why aren’t you following her” I say to Ashton who is still in my room.

“Alex what is wrong with you? Whay are you pushing everyone away?” Ashton says irritated.

“I am not doing this with you right now” I say shortly.

“You are not the only that lost this baby, I lost two babies already so stop feeling sorry for yourself and stop pushing people who care about you away” he says angrily.

“You don’t understand” I say shortly.

“What don’t I understand?” he asks frustrated

“The fact that I just lost my first baby”

“I can’t do this right now” he says getting out of the hospital room.

I take my macbook and start searching for some ebooks an ad of nursery decor pops up and I reluctantly open it. Before I know it I already bought the items for my baby’s nursery. As soon as I get out of this place I am going to start decorating my baby’s room. After hours of excessive buying I finally succumb to my fatigue and fall asleep.

“Alexendra what is this?” Ashton says waking me up.

“Stuff for the nursery” I say shortly and get back to sleep.

“What nursery?” he asks confused.

“Our baby’s nursery” I say irritated, why is he asking so many questions.

“What?” he asks surprised.

“Seriously? I bought those stuff for the baby’s nursery I just can’t have them at my apartment until my sister moves out so I thought I can have the stuff delivered to your house. I didn’t know that bringing them to your house would be such a big deal” I say annoyed.

“Alex are you ok?” he asks looking at me like I told him I am going to die tomorrow.

“I am fine, I was bored so I decided to look at some nursery decor and I ended up buying a bunch of things” I say sitting up and opening my macbook. I show him a bunch of unisex nurseries.

“Alexendra you…”

“I what?” I ask, why is he acting like this I thought he wanted me to keep this baby now that I did he is giving me mixed signals. I don’t understand what he wants now.

“Alex there is no baby” he says slowly.

“I am pregnant Ashton there might not be a baby right now but there will be in a few months time.”

“You are not pregnant anymore, the baby’s dead” he says emotionless.

“That is what you and that doctor told me but I know that my baby is alive” I say rubbing my stomach. Ashton just leaves with a defeated face. I seriously don’t know what his deal is.

My sister comes back with dinner and I take the food and eat it to her surprise.

“You are weird you know that” she says smiling.

“That’s why you love me” I say smiling back.

“I have some exciting news to tell you!”

“What do you want to tell me?”

“I am 2 months pregnant!” she says with a smile that spans her entire face.

“What! I am so happy for you” I say lifting my one good hand to hug her. We spend almost the entire night talking and searching baby related stuff. She falls asleep in my room and I soon follow her.

I wake up to find my sister missing and Ashton in her place. I seriously need to get out of here. I am so tired of looking at the same walls for twenty four hours for the past two weeks. Ok maybe one since the other week I was supposedly in a coma.

“Hey” I say smiling.

“Still shopping?” he asks looking at my macbook.

“Yes, but for my sister this time” I say sitting up.

“Your sister is pregnant?” he asks surprised.

“Yeah 2 months pregnant she told me yesterday” I say excitedly.

“Oh, well I guess then you are abandoning operation baby room right?” he asks smirking.

“No, I am not I am going to be helping my sister out with her baby’s room while doing my own baby’s room” I say taking my macbook.

“Alexendra you don’t have a baby, you are not pregnant anymore. Why do you refuse to accept that?” he says in an unreadable voice.

“I am I can prove that. Let’s take a pregnancy test then” I say irritated. We agree to take a pregnancy test so Ashton calls a doctor.The doctor takes my blood and performs the pregnancy test. After a few minutes the doctor tells me that I am not pregnant. Immediately after that I remember the time when I was at the warehouse when Alessandro punched my stomach I instantly feel the pain the fist handed me. I recall him kicking me maniacally. I feel tears cascading down my face. Alessandro killed my baby.
